2004 Australian Idol, Casey Donovan, launched Fairfield Council's logo launch for Prairiewood at Stockland Mall, Wetherill Park on Saturday.

Spearheading a free day of entertainment, Casey was available to sign copies of her latest album after her midday performance.

The family entertainment included appearances by Alvin and the Chipmunks, Miss Min and a school musical pantomime, "High School Musical".

Also walking on to the main stage was Mickey Mouse and friends, handing out show bags to audience members.

Local talent was on display when Wetherill Park resident Carlo Gebilagin takes the stage alongside Xlr8.

Fairfield Mayor Nick Lalich said the council has developed the logo to help the community identify the area and its services such as the hospital, showground, and various retail outlets.
