The Healthy People Healthy Earth Fair is on Sunday, March 16 at Fairfield Showground, Smithfield Road, Prairiewood from 2pm to 7pm.
The fair is a free community event that will have local live music and dance performances including Flamenco dancing and martial arts displays.
There will also be multicultural food stalls, free seedling giveaways, live native animals and mini-workshops.
Check out the ‘Cook For Tomorrow’ cooking competition where locals can win more than $150 worth of kitchen accessories and have their recipe published in a cookbook.
The competition will be judged by celebrity guest, Vasili Kanidiadis from the SBS television series Vasili’s Garden.
"Our community is one of the most multicultural places in the world and we are able to enjoy dishes from around the globe any day of the week,” Mayor Nick Lalich said.
The Western Sydney Cycle Network is offering free bike maintenance tips and guided rides so bring a helmet and your bike – or hire a recycled-bicycle at the fair.
All sound and lighting on the day will be powered by a giant solar battery.
