Lansvale crash closes road

20/08/2008 1:11:00 PM
A man was taken to Liverpool Hospital with a fractured sternum after two cars collided in Lansvale on Sunday afternoon.

Police allege a grey Toyota Corolla driving south-east on Hollywood Drive turned right onto Ferry Road without stopping and collided with a maroon Holden Commodore.

Police, fire brigade and ambulance crews attended the accident, closing off the road for a few hours.

The commodore's driver had to be extracted from the car after fracturing his sternum. His passenger was also injured.

They were both taken to Liverpool Hospital.
