Sadlier man faces chemist robbery charges

A Sadlier man, 19, has been charged with a string of chemist robberies last month, some of which were in Fairfield and Mount Pritchard.

Green Valley police allege the robberies occured in Sadlier, Liverpool, Carnes Hill, Campsie, Hoxton Park, as well as in Mount Pritchard and Fairfield between September 3 and 7.

An amount of cash was taken and employees were threatened during all of the robberies but no one was injured.

Police arrested the man in Ashcroft on Wednesday and charged him with 10 counts of armed robbery and four unrelated warrants.

He was refused bail and is due to face Liverpool Court today.
