Championship bid

Cabramatta Leagues Club had four players in the Sydney South West under-12s Primary School side that played in Inverell recently.

Aaron Woodham, Isaac Brown, Tom Amone and Liam Collenette, made their presence felt at the NSW PSSA State Championships.

Despite finishing fourth, the team was the only one to beat the eventual competition winners Sydney North.

''Only the last two games were hard but the other two were easy,'' said secondrower Tom.

Aaron and Liam were picked for spots in the NSW PSSA under-12s state development squad based on their performances.

They spent a week in Narrabeen with 34 other hopefuls being coached and playing trial games.
