Halftime blast inspires the Two Blues to a big victory

23/07/2008 2:02:00 PM
Cabramatta Two Blues turned in their most clinical performance of the season claiming the prized scalp of the second place Mounties with a 40-23 victory at New Era Stadium, on Monday night.

The Jim Beam Cup local derby was a game of two halves.

Mounties totally dominated possession and field position in the first 40 minutes, taking a 17-6 lead into halftime.

But a halftime rev up from Cabramatta caretaker coach Corey Ruttle did the trick with the Two Blues producing a powerful second half of football scoring 34 points.

The Two Blues celebrate Pink Day when they tackle Wentworthville at New Era Stadium this Sunday, July 27, at 3pm.
