TO WIN a premiership without losing a match in a season is a feat.
Do it three times in a row and it goes down in history.
That is what the boys from the Mounties under 10s rugby league team are aiming to do as the 2008 season draws to an end.
Their dominance in the competition has been highlighted in the last two weeks, securing an emphatic 40-12 win over the second placed Cabramatta Two Blues and a 24-0 win over Hills District.
Manager Allen Shields was delighted that his side had regained the minor premiership and was confident they could make a hat-trick of premierships with another grand final victory.
``They are just all natural footballers,'' Shields said.
``They are a close-knit side because 70per cent of the boys have played together since the under 6s.''
Mounties have scored 523 points so far this season, with Mosese Suli helping himself to a few points on the way to hold the mantle as the team's leading try-scorer.
The team's defence has been as good as the attack, standing firm all season and conceding only 84 points.
